When I am not working with Kristine, I am usually at the computer doing PR work for Momentum.
However, I do pursue other activities that keep me sane! In the summer (and spring and fall), I enjoy sailing with my husband of 27 years, Pat, on our Tartan 31 foot sailboat. We're on the Great South Bay every day possible and this has become our "Great Escape"! When we are sailing, either alone or with friends aboard, we are able to leave the real world behind.
(In case you didn't figure it out, it's named after Kristine!)
I am very interested in early music performance and, in addition to modern horn, I specialize in playing period horns such as:
the baroque horn: 
and the
classical hand horn.
These two instruments are copies of horns that were used during the Baroque and Classical periods. Unlike string instruments, brass instruments wear more with time. Therefore, the "authentic" brass instruments that are played now must be copies, as most originals are either unplayable or are on display in museums.
I also collect antique brass instruments and frequent antique shows in search of these treasures. I have located and purchased a few that I am really proud of. Hope you like them too!
Another interest I have (although financially difficult to pursue) is antique cars and sports cars. My own pride and joy is a 1990 red Mazda Miata. There is nothing like riding around on a warm spring day with the top down! (except maybe a warm spring day on the sailboat!!) Anyway, here's my Miata. I hope you like it as much as I do!
