Kristine's Page

Welcome to my page! I live in Massapequa, NY in a house right next door to my mother, with my husband of 10 years, Jeff, our 4 year old son, Jack and our 19 month old son, Aidan. In addition to playing recitals I teach private flute lessons out of my home.

The flute that I play is a 14 karat rose gold Brannen Cooper with a 14 karat and platinum Dave Williams headjoint. Brannen Brothers made the flute to fit my hands exactly, and because of it I am able to keep my tendonitis at bay and continue playing.

I have been concentrating a lot of my time recently on studying the art of early music with my newest flute, an African Blackwood baroque flute, made for me by Folkers and Powell (also with extra keys added to it to make it possible for me to play with my tendonitis).
